Teams are always the best when everyone puts in a little effort to help up with the work. This was a great team consisting of 7 females and two males. With our collective efforts, we came with up findings on the causes of climate change, the effects on fishing and the mitigation and adaptation of the impacts of climate change on fishing.  Sonia Nakie Kumah - Producer As a producer, she was responsible for seeing to it that all aspects of the project is done. She saw to it that we had the right story ideas and story line for our project. Again she engaged everyone actively in ensuring that articles are good for publication. Also she was responsible for all post on our Instagram and twitter accounts and also designed the flyers for our xspace and podcasts. She was also a part of the research team when it came to drafting suitable questions for our podcast and also had the first interview session of our podcast. Today, applying such traditional methods are gradually proving to be obsolete in the face of a rapidly changing climate.  According to world resource institute, Ghana per capita consumption of fish is 22 kg per year which is equivalent to 15 per cent of protein derived from fish. Statistics from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) indi­cate that approximately 43.5 million people work directly in the sector, with 10 million people benefiting from employment in the sector. Locally, Ghana’s fisheries sector is one of the key sectors supporting the country’s economic development, food security and supporting local livelihoods.
